Boston Service Trip

July 9-14

Ages: Current 9th through 12th graders.


Purpose: For students to better understand our call as Christians to “love your neighbor as yourself.”


History: DPC will be partnering with Center for Student Missions. CSM was launched in 1988 by Ridge Burns. The goal of CSM is offer a short term service experience that transforms lives, influences churches and communities, and honors Christ. CSM conducts trips in 12 locations around the U.S. and Mexico


Housing: Students will be staying in a church located in the Charlestown Neighborhood of Boston. Each room will be gender specific and students will be sleeping on air mattresses.


Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be served at the housing location and the work site. Dinner will be at a different locally owned ethnic restaurant. 


Transportation: The group will be driving to Boston in DPC owned vehicles and if needed rented vehicles. 


Type of Work: Painting, Yard Work, Fencing, and Repair work of all types. Cost: $440 Cash or Check $465 Online
